Shekoiya Nakia Jackson is a native of Cairo, Georgia who was born on December 5, 1993, to Jennifer Donalson-Baker and James Jackson, III. She has two older brothers and one younger sister (Arthur Donalson, III, James Jackson IV and Janiya Jackson).  Shekoiya is a very humble and soft spoken young lady who has been prophesied by many that she would preach the gospel one day.

She is a 2012 graduate of Cairo High School where she participated in various clubs, served in leadership positions for the Cairo High School band, a member of the national honor society, Who’s Who Among Outstanding Students of America, the United Achievement Academy, and served as a Page for the House of Representatives. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Shekoiya is a student at Clayton State University, where she is studying Psychology and Human Services.

She is strong in her faith and credits her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for bringing her this far in life. Shekoiya has enjoyed her involvement with the Date with Destiny and looks forward to the upcoming years. She is strong in her faith and mighty in her fight. She loves Hebrews 11:6 which say “And without faith it is impossible to please God, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”
